Welcome to Collège Laflèche, the only private college in the Mauricie and Centre-du-Quebec regions to offer both pre-university and technical programs.
Founded by the Ursuline nuns in 1969, Collège Laflèche is a private institution that offers 26 study programmes (16 in the regular sector and 10 in the continuing education sector) to a yearly student population of around 1,300. The College is located in the heart of the town of Trois-Rivières, and in 2009 is celebrating the 40th year of its foundation.
College Laflèche is renowned for the quality of its teaching and the excellence of its student services. The added value of College Laflèche is found in the competence and dynamism of its teachers and support staff. Everything possible is done to help graduating students make the right choice for university, or else to find a place on the job market.
Collège Laflèche’s excellent reputation is already well established. Students come here from all over the province and even further afield, for the success rates in the programs are equal or superior to provincial averages. In the technical programs, 92% of those who completed their studies in 2007 found employment related to their field of study!

To help stay well balanced, you can get involved with community and social projects or sports. Collège Laflèche offers all kinds of activities to satisfy your interests: varied and enriching extra-curricular activities, quality internships and intercollegial sports teams, not to mention the Sports plus études and Arts plus études profiles.
The College’s Continuing Education Centre offers intensive courses as well as a whole range of AECs (Attestation of college studies) designed to meet the region’s needs in terms of employment. It also provides companies with made-to-measure training courses.
Always in the forefront
Environmentally, the College has proved itself outstanding in being awarded Cegep vert du Québec – Niveau 3 (Green college – level 3) certification. So far, it is the only institution in the area to have reached this level. Moreover, Collège Laflèche has been certified Bâtiment vert since 2005. This green certification applies exclusively to the building, and the college is the first in Québec to have obtained it. The latest ecological project, unique in the Mauricie area, is that of the green hall of residence, where the components of the green roof (material and construction methods) comply with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) norms.
